Simple, Rustic, Chic.  Bella Rosa Farms was the perfect setting for Amy and Ryan's wedding day and you could really see how their guests enjoyed the relaxed venue location.  We had so much fun working with Amy and Ryan, and seeing this new chapter for their family.  Both the bride and groom work in the medical field so their schedules were very busy, making it much easier to have us work directly with their wedding vendors and finalize the essential details. 

We had a chance to work with Matthew Lim Photography again and it was a blast, not only does Matt have a super easy going personality but he has an incredible eye for lighting, emotion and the smallest details.  It was Matt's brilliant eye that discovered the incredible lighting on the bocce ball court and is our all time favorite couple's shot at Bella Rosa!    

After the reception guests enjoyed chips and salsa during the cocktail hour and for dinner there was a full taco bar spread by Aca Taco.  The cookie shoppe cookies were a big hit after dinner!

You know that feeling of having butterflies in your stomach? That is the feeling we had when we witnessed this incredible couple said "I do."

Chris and Jessica came to us in a frenzy due to a situation that pushed their planning process back. When we received a phone call from them, we immediately began tying loose ends to ensure that their wedding day would be the best day of their lives!

The best part about this scenario was that we had the opportunity to work with such a relaxed and amazing couple! It definitely makes this "job" much easier!  Their love speaks for itself in these gorgeous photos.

Northern California Wedding Planner | Live Oak Wedding ~ Lindsey & Juan

Around here we say "love" a lot, but how can we not when we are surrounded by it? It's a pretty amazing experience to get to be invited into two people's world and help them celebrate their commitment to each other.  Marriage is not about the wedding, its about the people and the understanding that it takes two to build a life together.  Lindsey and Juan are a couple who wear their love proudly and it is incredibly sweet to see how smitten they are.  

It was no surprise their wedding was filled with intimate and emotional moments followed by laughter and joy as their family and friends gathered to witness them become husband and wife.  Juan planned a beautiful serenade during dinner, and Lindsey's sister and maid of honor knocked out a wedding toast that would put sir mix-a-lot to shame.

6.25.16 - Ashley & Jarrett | Rustic Country Wedding Colusa CA

There was the most relaxed vibe on Ashley & Jarrett's wedding day, like everything had fallen into place just as it should.  These high school sweethearts were ready to make it official!  

We started planning Ashley & Jarrett's wedding and instantly fell in love with their love! A classic high school sweetheart story always tugs at our heart strings but it was the way that Ashley seemed to be always be smiling when she talked about Jarrett that sealed the deal.  We had never planned a wedding on a pig farm before, but Ashley had every base covered like a pro and she made our job easy by choosing amazing vendors to help every detail come together.  We couldn't be happier to have been a part of their wedding day, and wish them a lifetime of happiness!

Can we talk about this bouquet for a minute? The Country Florist brought Ashley's vision to reality and we were in love with all of her florals. Just breathtaking!

Yes, it was a large wedding party and yes it was so worth it! These folks had a blast and helped make Ashley & Jarrett's wedding day so special!

Ashley & Jarrett's wedding monogram was used throughout her wedding, so it was only fitting to have their monogram be the staple of the evening and up in lights on the giant hay bale wall! The Wedding DJ was amazing with all of the lighting used, it transformed the ranch into a magical place! The moral of the story, is that a couple's love is what make's the wedding oh and don't underestimate a pig farm!

As a wedding planner we often get to see the moments that have been dreamed of for months or even years of planning.  The deep emotions, intimate memories and excitement for the future all wrapped into one day is pretty powerful.  Over the years we have truly been blown away by the incredible love that we witness, and we think back to these moments and memories often.  Having this sweet video of Jenna & Nick's wedding day is a testament to the value of wedding videographers and just how precious it is to have this day captured!
