A note from our team:

If we could reach out and hug (or elbow bump) alllllll of the couples out there who are wrestling with date changes, decisions about moving forward and also trying to still enjoy their planning..because ya’ll deserve a medal. Our focus is remaining current on all updates, guidelines and state/local considerations in order to assist our couples.

#Postponedontcancel

While the first thought might be to cancel your event, we have successfully postponed 99% of effected events maintaining the original vendors for our couples. We want to help you retain what you have already invested in to your big day and the best way to do that is to postpone in lieu of cancelling.

Postponements

Our team has created a system to make the postponement process as seamless as possible by handling the vendor communication while we find the dates that work for your whole vendor team. Our clients can roll their retainer and any payments into the new date - easy peazy!

Availability

If the original planner handling your project is not available on the new date, we will assign another planner from our team for wedding management production while your original planner maintains communication and execution or the remaining planning work. That’s the beauty of a team!

Are Weddings Allowed in California?

The most recent guidance released on April 15, 2021 for gatherings/weddings/events in California can be found here: https://www.cdph.ca.gov/Programs/CID/DCDC/Pages/COVID-19/Guidance-for-the-Prevention-of-COVID-19-Transmission-for-Gatherings-November-2020.aspx

We strongly recommend touching base with your venue to find out what guidance (if any) they are planning to rely on for receptions to determine your allowed guest count capacity. If your venue is a restaurant/winery it may look different than an event hall or outdoor ranch so we are seeing varying responses from venues.

As vaccination rates increase and more sectors open in our communities we expect there to be some movement relating to receptions very soon!

If you have any questions about COVID-19 and how that is effecting events in your area please give us a call at (530) 988-8344.
